Coko founder Adam Hyde will be speaking at the EkoKonnect 2021 conference. Adam will be on the first session entitled “State-of-the-art Platforms for R&E Communication and Collaboration” with African IT sector leaders Engr. Ikechukwu Nnamani (President, ATCON), Kazeem Oladepo (Vice President, IHS Nigeria Ltd), and Wole Abu (CEO, Liquid Telecom Nigeria). The session is chaired by Prof. Charles Uwadia (Chair, Eko-Konnect Research and Education Initiative).
This session will discuss affordable connectivity and how to get the fibre and datacenter capacity needed to interconnect campus networks across Nigeria and establish the required scholarly communication and research collaboration platforms. The panel will also explore the need for co-opetition amongst the infrastructure stakeholders for the benefit of the REN community and national development.
